Adam Gordon is one of my students at Carlsbad Seaside Academy where I am the principal.  I have been able to get to know Adam over this past school year and have been inspired and awed by not only his hard work in his studies, but also his creativity through his passion of photography.  His photos are breathtaking and the lengths that he goes to get these images are a testament to the love that he feels for the art of photography.

The lessons that he has learned since taking up his art need to be shared.  Adam is looking to start a new journey by taking the lessons that he has learned and passing them onto a new generation of young photographers.  I am confident that he will be able to teach these lessons based on his love of this art, but also because Adam already has experiences working with younger children.  He has been a successful tutor in the area of mathematics to younger children, and he volunteers his time at Magnolia Elementary School to help kids with reading and homework.

His love of photography, his maturity beyond his years, and his experience working with young children will definitely shine through when he teaches his classes.  I am inspired by his tenacity to teach young children about photography. I believe that his students will connect with him and that he will inspire creativity in his class.

It is my genuine pleasure to write this letter on behalf of Adam Gordon, who is my student at Carlsbad Seaside Academy.

Adam is an excellent student with As in all his academic classes.  As importantly, Adam displays a remarkable work ethic and passion for learning.  He is also always punctual, very reliable and responsible, and shows a maturity way beyond his years.  He is very friendly and gentle, a good communicator, and gets along very well with both his peers and teachers.

One of Adam’s qualities that stand out is his genuine passion and dedication for Photography.  Adam puts a lot of thought in how he chooses his location, angles, light and subjects. What also impresses me is his depth of thought and his artistic eye when he writes about his art.

Adam Gordon is the type of person who will excel at whatever he does.  He has wonderful personal qualities, a great talent that he enhances with hard work and dedication, and a sense of humor.
